Former Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi has resumed training with his new club, Trabzonspor, after completing his medicals.
Mikel’s medical was delayed having completed his transfer to the club while on national duty with Nigeria at the 2019 AFCON.
The former Chelsea star was joined by Ghana striker Caleb Ekuban, who recently joined the Turkish outfit from Leeds United.
The Turkish Super Lig is set to resume on August 18 with Trabzonspor billed to face Kasimpasa in the opening fixture.
