Practitioners in the health sector has been advised on self development in other to be more relevant in their profession.
Professor of medicine at the university of Lagos, Chinyere Mbakwem who is also consultant cardiologist to the Lagos university teaching hospital, said this at the 2023 graduation ceremony of 343 students from LUTH’s medical schools.
She also encouraged the graduands on lifelong learning to enable them meet up with the technological advancement in patient care.
The chief medical director of LUTH, professor Wasiu Adeyemo in his welcome speech said “since 1962 the facility has contributed in training of dental, medical and paramedical personnel and these trained personal are found in all healthcare facilities within and outside Nigeria.

Prizes and awards were also given to deserving students who were advised to be good ambassadors of the Lagos university teaching hospital.
