NBA all-time leading scorer LeBron James has agreed to join the Philadelphia 76ers, signing a two-year, $8 million contract with a player option as he prepares for a record-extending 24th season in the league.
According to Marca, citing ESPN insider Shams Charania and Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul, the deal ends weeks of speculation over the four-time NBA champion’s future after his departure from the Los Angeles Lakers.
To commemorate the move, James signed his first-ever Philadelphia 76ers trading card, with one lucky collector set to receive a one-of-one autographed edition, making it one of the most sought-after basketball collectibles of the year.

The transfer marks LeBron’s return to the Eastern Conference after spending the past eight seasons with the Lakers. In Philadelphia, he joins a star-studded roster featuring Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Jaylen Brown, significantly boosting the 76ers’ hopes of challenging for the NBA title.
