An Abia-based constitutional lawyer, Anthony Agbazuere has come to the defence of the senate over its row with the Comptroller-General of Customs, Hameed Ali.
He chided the retired Colonel for seemingly undermining the senate, whose responsibility he said is to oversee the executive.

He also says Ibrahim Magu has automatically stopped acting as Nigeria’s anti-graft boss immediately his nomination failed confirmation by the senate.
