Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu signs N14,815 Billion 5-Year 16.00% Fixed-Rate Series III Green Bond due 2030 and N230,000,000,000 10-Year 16.25% Fixed-Rate Series IV Bond due 2035.

The Governor says proceeds from the bond will be channeled to transportation, environment, healthcare, education and sustainable urban development, among others.

This is the largest ever sub-national bond issuance in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.
