The All Progressives Congress in Lagos State says its successful electronic membership registration and recently concluded party congresses demonstrate its strength in organisation and internal democracy.
In a statement on Friday, the party said the exercise reflected its commitment to discipline, innovation and institutional development.
According to the party, the electronic membership registration exercise recorded widespread participation and strengthened its internal structure across wards and local government areas in the state.
The party also described the conduct of its congresses as peaceful, transparent and in full compliance with constitutional guidelines.
It noted that the process attracted large participation from members and produced a leadership structure capable of driving the party’s programmes in the state.
The Lagos APC added that those elected into the state executive committee represent a blend of experience and youth, as well as gender balance, which it said would enhance the party’s capacity to sustain its political dominance.
“The quality of members elected into the state executive of the party reflects a strategic combination of institutional experience and fresh energy designed to consolidate progress,” the statement said.
The party maintained that discipline, cohesion and organisation remain the pillars of the progressive movement’s continued strength in Lagos and across Nigeria.
It also urged opposition parties to strengthen their internal structures, noting that politics requires organisation, coordination and leadership rather than internal divisions.
The APC expressed confidence that its structure and unity would continue to attract public trust and support from residents of Lagos State.
