Some youth have protested in Lokoja the Kogi State Capital and also submitted a letter to the Commissioner of Police and other security agencies on the violence and attacks on persons and property in Kogi State.
But this protest has not stopped sponsored political thugs from attacking the campaign team of the Social Democratic Party Kogi State Governorship Candidate, Murtala Yakubu Ajaka while he was in Koton Karfe, Kogi Local Government Area in Kogi State.
Before Mr Ajaka’s Arrival at the venue of the campaign the arena was destroyed, cars were burnt down.
While he was leaving the venue of the campaign he also came under attack while several of his Supporters sustained Bullet wounds.
Mr Ajaka said even after he has written the security agencies about his event in Koton Karfe his Team are still coming under attack.
