Ministries, Departments, and Agencies in Kebbi State have continued to defend their fiscal appropriations before the State House of Assembly.
The budget was presented by Governor Nasir Idris to the Legislature on 18th December, 2024.
Clerk of the Assembly, Sulaiman Shamaki, said after passing the budget for second reading, the Fiscal Proposal was referred to the Joint Committee on Finance, Appropriation, and Monitoring.

He commended the Chairman of the Budget Defence Committee, Adamu Muhammad Birnin Yauri, and his team for reappraising the MDAs’ proposals.
The Commissioner for information and Culture, Yakubu Ahmed outlined plans for improved media outreach and the development of cultural events aimed at uniting the state’s diverse population.
