A Senator representing Katsina north Senatorial district, Senator Mustapha Bukar is dead.
His passing away was announced by a family member early on Wednesday morning.
The late Senator’s Personal Assistant, Ahmed Daura, also posted the news of his principal’s death on his Facebook page early Wednesday morning.
The senator passed away in Abuja and will be buried in Daura today (Wednesday) in line with Islamic injunction.
Until his death, he was Chairman of the senate committee on Capital market.
