Governor Dikko Radda has moved to strengthen his administration with the nomination of two commissioner-designates and the appointment of a new agency chief, alongside a raft of senior aides.
The governor forwarded the names of Alhaji Muhammad Sani-Ahmad and Alhaji Mannir Ayuba-Sullubawa to the Katsina State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners.
The development was disclosed on Monday in a statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed.
Radda also approved the appointment of Suleiman Namadi as Managing Director of the Katsina State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency, a key institution responsible for tackling environmental degradation and water management challenges in the state.

In addition, Hajiya Jamila Salman, Alhaji Ibrahim Danjuma and Alhaji Muddasir Mati were appointed as Senior Special Assistants, while Alhaji Musa Dankawu and Alhaji Abdulfatah Kafur will serve as Special Assistants.
Congratulating the appointees, the governor expressed confidence in their ability to contribute meaningfully to governance and accelerate development across their respective portfolios.
He directed them to align fully with his administration’s “Building Your Future” agenda and deliver on campaign promises made to the people of the state.
“I expect you to hit the ground running. This appointment is a call to service. Work with focus, deliver results and make the people proud,” Radda said.
