Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has congratulated First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 65th birthday, praising her as an inspiration to women and a strong pillar of support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Press Affairs, Udora Orizu, Kalu described the First Lady as a compassionate leader whose dedication to youth and women’s empowerment is evident through her numerous initiatives and pet projects.

The Deputy Speaker lauded Senator Tinubu’s unwavering support for the reserved seats bill, which seeks to tackle gender disparities and promote women’s inclusion in governance.

Kalu was quoted saying: “I heartily congratulate Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife our President and leader, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, GCFR on the occasion of her 65th birthday. Sen. Oluremi is a passionate and kindhearted leader who has dedicated her life to selfless service to our dear nation in different capacities both in private and public service.

Kalu prayed for God’s guidance, good health, and many more years for the First Lady, urging her to continue serving as a role model for women in leadership and governance
