The committee established to organize Kaduna State’s participation in the 2025 Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2025) will be chaired by State Deputy Governor Hadiza Balarabe in an effort to promote the state’s economic potential on the continental level.
Over 35,000 visitors from more than 140 countries are anticipated to attend Africa’s biggest trade and investment event, IATF2025, which is set to take place from September 4–10.
The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) will organise the trade show in partnership with the African Union Commission, offering a unique platform for trade promotion and investor networking across the continent.
During the conference, Balarabe remarked that the strategic planning intends to effectively showcase Kaduna as a top choice for business, investment, and commerce.
She explained that, with its rich agricultural resources, young population, and favourable investment climate, the State team will promote the state’s appealing tale to investors and trading partners.
The Deputy Governor further stated that the State team will use the event to attract foreign direct investment, create economic possibilities, and enhance market access for local products, all in accordance with Governor Sani’s economic development goal for the state.
