A one-week extension has been announced by the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board for intending pilgrims to complete their payments for the 2025 Hajj fare registration.
The Director-General of the board, Ahmad Labbo, made the announcement, saying the extension is necessary to allow more intending pilgrims to complete their registration.
Mr. Labbo said the new deadline is now set for Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
This year, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has allocated 1809 slots to Jigawa State for the Hajj pilgrimage.
