As Ogun State government prepares for the allocation of its ultra modern markets located at Sapon and Itoku areas of Abeokuta, market leaders at the Kemta Itoku Adire-Kampala market have appealed to the governor to consider them first before other people.

They made this known during a press conference held during the celebration of Adire Day.

They noted that the traders contribute in no small measures into the local economy of the state and want the government to give them preference as indigenous traders with specific objectives.

Speaking on behalf of the market leader, Alhaja Sadiat Akamo, one the one of the executives of the market, Micheal Ogunfidodo urged the governor not to move them away from their present location and that he should allow them to be together due to the peculiar nature of their business.
