For his part, Dare Odufowokan, said the good side of the BRT Transport model by the Kaduna State government should be applauded not minding the comments of pessimists.

He added that several factors account for why the move should be applauded including population explosion in the State, Rural-Urban migration from within the State and Other parts of the North to Kaduna State and the City itself.

He disclosed that the City currently faces Transportation issues that needs to be solved now before it becomes intractable.

While talking about the example of the Bus rapid Transport system in Lagos State, he said it was a plan that was designed from the off to address issues in the Transport Sector in the State and has evolved overtime since it was first introduced by the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration.

He said the rationale behind its introduction should be applauded considering how the BRT has worked in Lagos.

Comparing the population density in the operation of the BRT in Lagos to what may happen in Kaduna, he said Lagos is far more populous than Kaduna but said the BRT was the instrument to phase out the notorious Molue buses, Adewale Adeoye, said BRT has transformed the Transport Sector in Lagos State tremendously and is still doing so.
