International Left-Handers Day:Increasing awareness of everyday challenges

Today is International Left-Handers Day.

International Left-Handers Day is celebrated on August 13 annually to celebrate the differences and uniqueness of the left-handers.

The theme for this year is “increasing awareness of everyday challenges”

The day was introduced by the Left Handers Club nearly 30 years ago.

The club started the tradition as a way to capture the unique struggles left-handers have living in a right-handed world.

About 10 percent of people are reported to be left hand dominant.

The Left Handers Club, believe Left-handers are generally more intelligent, better looking, imaginative and multi-talented than right-handers.
