Independent National Electoral Commission INEC is holding stakeholders meeting for Political parties, Civil Society Organizations and Observers in Awka, the Anambra State Capital.
The event is chaired by INEC National Chairman Prof. Joash Amupitan and Inspector General of Police being represented by DIG Benjamin Okolo.
The familiarisation stakeholders meeting is designed to keep the people abreast with the level of INEC preparedness on the November 8 ANAMBRA off-cycle Goverboship election.
INEC earlier informed the public that it will deploy 24,000, with over 2.8 million registered voters and election to he conducted in 5,718 polling units.
