The Imo State Government has begun its two-day economic summit to unveil a one-trillion-dollar economic agenda, anchored on a series of tourism-revival projects.
As part of efforts to reposition Imo State as a leading global economic hub, the summit is set to launch an ambitious one-trillion-dollar economic blueprint aimed at unlocking the State’s economic potential. The event has brought together economic experts and world leaders.
Among the guests at the event are, Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima, the President of Liberia, Joseph Boakai, the Prime Minister of São Tomé and Príncipe, Americo Ramos, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
TVC previously reported that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted approval for the establishment of the University of Innovation, Science and Technology in Imo State, marking a major milestone in the state’s higher education development.
