The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has sealed up a filling station in Yenagoa for selling illegally refined petroleum products to the public. Assuring the Department of Petroleum Resources of partnership in the state, the new NSCDC State Commandant warned dealers of illegally refined products to desist or be ready for dire consequences.
Ovieteme George reports that illegally refined petroleum products concealed in layers of sacks are found in the premises of this filling station at Agbura, few kilometres away from Yenagoa the Bayelsa state capital.
The illegally refined petroleum products include diesel and kerosene sold to the public by the petrol station attendants.
