He says rumours of his defection to the New Nigeria Party is false and a figment of the imagination of the peddlers.
APC Stakeholders from Tundun Wada /Doguwa Federal Constituency of Kano state also paid a solidarity visit to the Leader of the House of Representatives.
The group is led by a one time member of the Nigerian Senate, Masa’ud El-Jubril.
They are in the National Assembly to show solidarity with the Majority Leader over the political situation in Kano state.

Hounourable Alhassan Ado-Doguwa uses the opportunity of the visit to dispel rumours in the social media that he was defecting to another political party.
The House Leader says he remains in APC no matter what.
He also appeals to his guests and other Nigerians to give massive support to the APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu, the party’s flagbearer in the Kano governorship election as well as other APC candidates in the State and across the Country.
The visit by the group from his constituency may not be unconnected with the recent alarm raised by the Majority Leader over what he termed the seeming failure of the party’s leadership to address the lingering APC Crisis in Kano State.
