The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, took to twitter shortly after meeting President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja with series of pictures emerging from the visit.
The first having him with the President shaking hands and banters as he tweeted ”Happiness is Free” with a smiling emoji.
He also tweeted, ”it doesn’t matter where you came from. All that matters is where you are going”. and within minutes the tweet got more than one hundred retweets and 580 likes and 84 comments all hailing the return of Adams Oshiomhole.
Oshiomhole visited President Muhammadu Buhari in the Villa to brief him on the party matters and also update Mr. President on his recent legal troubles.
Oshiomhole rubbishes FCT high court
The National chairman briefed state house correspondents and rubbished the decision of the FCT high court to restrain him from parading himself as chairman of the governing party.
He said the FCT high court has no jurisdiction to entertain or grant an interlocutory injunction on the matter brought before it because he was joined in the suit with other federal agencies.
Adams Oshiomhole blamed a serving minister and some APC governors for desperately seeking to remove him as chairman, thereby causing instability in the party.
He said only the National Working Committee can vote to remove a national officer who was elected during a national congress.
