An unconfirmed number of students have been kidnapped from a Catholic school in Niger State.
The police public relations officer in Niger State confirmed this to TVC News’s Chenemi Banmaiyi in a phone convrersation.
The School, St. Mary’s School, is a Catholic institution in Papiri community, Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State.
The incident comes within a few days of the abduction of 24 Students from the Government Girls Secondary, Maga in Kebbi State and another equally devastating attack by bandits on the Eruku community in Kwara State.
Its also coming 24 hours after the kidnapping of a local businessman on the road between Agwara and Minna.
The abduction is also not the first time a similar act took place in the State with many residents still smarting from the abduction of over 200 Students from the government Science Secondary School in Kagara on the 17th of February 2021.
