Civil Society Organizations are canvassing support for APC Presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shettima who they believe can harmonize sustainable changes in various aspects of the Nigeria‘s healthcare system.
This was disclosed at a symposium by Healthcare Transformation Coalition in Abuja.
As Nigeria approaches an important political transition , addressing Nigeria’s healthcare challenges is one area citizens believe the new Government should focus on.
They are hoping this will involve a commitment to prioritizing Universal Health Coverage for the most vulnerable population who bear the highest burden of diseases .
It is why these Civil Society Organizations are drumming support for the APC Presidential candidate Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shettima as their manifesto identifies Universal Health Coverage as a primary objective.
At this symposium , leaders of this coalition insist that their main aim is to ensure the healthcare system in Nigeria is repositioned for efficiency and sustainability by proactively contributing to the development of health policies and implementation strategies.
