Members of a Civil society group on good governance have called on the incoming administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliberately institutionalise equality, fairness and Justice to exclude its administration from nepotism.

Speaking at a Press Conference in Abuja, they called on the President Elect to appoint a Southern Borno person as a federal minister in his administration to ensure balance, inclusion and participation.

It is a new dawn in the Nigeria political system.

In less than 40 days a new government will emerge to pilot the affairs of Nigeria for the next four years.

Some Nigerians have begun setting an Agenda for the new government and the need for fair and widespread representation in the government, is a burning issue.

This group’s major concern is seeing the emergence of a Southern Borno representative in the federal Executive Council.

They complained that Southern Borno people have been maginalised by the incumbent administration.

Borno state has a predominance of Kanuri people, while other ethnic groups such as Lapang, Babur ,Bura and Marghi are found in the southern part of the state
