Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari has received the twenty-six girls rescued from bandits by the Zamfara State government.
The victims were kidnapped last Tuesday in Dan Aji village of Faskari local government in Katsina state during an attack by the criminal group.

Majority of the girls are in good condition but exhausted and looking traumatised from the unfortunate event.
The girls related their ordeals in the hands of the bandit and how they were assisted by the Zamfara state government.
Governor Aminu Masari appreciated the good gesture of the Zamfara government and directed for full medical examinations on them before they are reunited with their families.
