The Governor of Zamfara State Dauda Lawal has Commissioned a self renovated and fully equipped study Library of the Department of Political Science & International Studies at the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU Zaria, in Kaduna State.
The Governor says the move is another way to give back to his alma Mata being a 1988 & 1991 Alumnus of the department.
Inaugurating the library in company of the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Adamu Ahmed, Some members of the Zamfara State Executive Council and other important personalities, Governor Dauda Lawal said the University, especially the Department has prepared him and several other students to face the challenges of time.
Ahmadu Bello university, Zaria according to Dr. Lawal has made him strong and a courageous person and has made him a selfless leader.
Dr. Dauda Lawal assures the university community of continued contribution towards the growth and development of the great Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
“I am privileged to be here in my alma mater, the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, to commission the renovated and fully equipped Department of Political Science & International Studies library” The Governor Said.
“I renovated the library as a way to give back, being an 1988 & 1991 Alumnus of the department. I renovated the library that prepared me and several other students to face the challenges of time” He added.
“It is my pledge and prayer to continue to contribute to the growth and development of the great Ahmadu Bello University” He prayed.
Governor Dauda Lawal has long before he became the Governor of Zamfara state, has been contributing to the development of the Ahmadu Bello university, ABU Zaria his alma Mater, the secondary school he attended in Kachia, Kaduna state and several other institutions of Learning across Nigeria in his quest to the development of Education.
The Zamfara Governor appealed to well to do individuals and cooperate organizations to always contribute to the growth and development of the education sector at all levels.
