Three hundred and thirty two schools across the state will be renovated under the first phase

The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment Project (AGILE) is a World Bank assisted innovation of the Federal Ministry of Education geared at improving secondary education opportunities for adolescent girls

It is also to improve access to quality education for girls in marginalized communities, by establishing safe and supportive learning spaces for them to complete their education and develop essential skills for the future

Zamfara state Government has again reaffirmed it’s commitment to the project by disbursing over N11B for the renovation and rehabilitation of 322 schools under the first phase

Governor Lawal further urged the service providers to adhere strictly to the School Improvement Plans and the project implementation guidelines

Coordinator of the Project and Zamfara state Commissioner for Education says the move will further encourage education in the state

Governor Dauda Lawal however notes that the move is part of his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises of revitalizing the education sector and provide quality education
