More than one hundred transformers have been distributed by the Kano state government for the rural dwellers and businesses in the state.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje said the transformers are meant to boost socio-economic development in various communities.
According to him, some towns and villages can now enjoy the dividends of democracy, because of the power supply provision.
He said about N500 million was spent to achieve this feat.
