FUT Minna graduates 7,312 students

The best graduating student from the federal university of technology Minna with a CGPA of 4.91 says his desire for academic excellence is borne out of the constant thought of efforts at educating him made by his his father who is a staff sergeant in the Nigerian Army, and is currently in the frontline fighting against insurgents in the North East.

It is the 31st and 32nd convocation ceremony of the federal university of technology Minna.

A total of 7,312 graduating students were conferred with first degrees from 2020/2021 and 2022/2023 academic sessions .

The overall best graduating student is Abdulhakam Aminu, a graduate of mechanical engineering with a 4.91 CGPA , he shares his motivation to success.

The Visitor to the university is president Bola Tinubu , he was represented by professor Chinedum Nwajiuba who expressed the federal government’s commitment to subsidizing education in Nigeria with the introduction of the students loan

The vice chancellor of the university professor Farouq Kuta, highlighted the resolve of the institution, despite facing challenges and uncertainties, He says the institution remains steadfast in its commitment to academic excellence.

The Niger state governor represented by his deputy Yakubu Garba assured of partnership between the state government and the university in areas of mechanised farming and seed production.

The assurance of the student loan from president Tinubu will help more indigent students complete their tertiary education.
