The combined efforts of Federal Road Safety Corps and Enugu Fire Service have averted an impending danger as a result of diesel ladened tanker explosion.
The unfortunate incident happened Thursday night along the Ugwu-Onyeama section of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) got the wing of the incident, alerted motorists using the Expressway of the accident, whose diesel products spilled and went on flame.
The sector Commander Franklin Agbakoba revealed that the incident did not involve any other vehicle, with no life lost in the incident.
Eyewitness account commended the corps rapid response that averted the danger and the state fire service for putting out the fire without delay.
