The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Shehu Muhammed, has visited Jigawa State to commiserate with families of the victims of the devastating tanker explosion in Majia town, Taura Local Government Area.
The tragic incident claimed hundreds of lives and left many injured.
The FRSC Corps marshall expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life and cautioned Nigerians against scooping fuel from collided tankers, emphasising the importance of road safety regulations.

He assured that the Corps has launched an investigation into the incident and will work tirelessly to prevent similar tragedies.
He said the Corps will receive additional incentives to reduce road accidents, as directed by the President.
