Former Federal lawmaker distributes food items, clothes to widows, orphans, less privileged

Zamfara based philanthropist and politician Aminu Sani Jaji has distributed seventy-six trucks of assorted food items to the poor and vulnerable persons across the fourteen local government areas of the state

Jaji also distributed 2,465 bundles of assorted clothing materials for the needy ahead of the Sallah Celebration

The donation according to the the former federal lawmaker is to ease the hardship the people are facing especially during the Ramadan season

He said the move becomes necessary considering the negative effect of Insecurity on the people especially in communities that has suffered attacks which has also prevented many from farming during the last rainy season

According to him, the food items were donated by the Jaji Foundation in collaboration with Baba for All Forum.

“The donationof the items is to put smiles on the faces of the people in this holy month of Ramadan which comes with alot of Allah’s blessings” he said.

“I am not unware of the challenges the widows, Orphans, Vulnerable and the physically challenged persons in our societies are going through especially with the economy downturn”

“We are optimistic that the gesture will go along to smoothen this year’s Ramadan fast”

Aminu Jaji performed the flag-off ceremony amidst party supporters who converged at the headquarters of the Jaji Foundation in Gusau, the state Capital to witness the event.

He noted that each of the fourteen local government areas in the state would benefit from one truck of rice, two trucks of millet and three trucks of maize while Gusau, Kaura Namoda, Talatar Mafara and Birnin Magaji local governments areas with high r during the eight National assembly appeal to the people to intensify prayers for peace and development in Zamfara state.
