He says across the globe the fight against Corona virus has suppressed the fight against HIV/Aids with the exception of Nigeria and five other countries

According to him, Nigeria is facing the the fight against the spread of the virus through the enrolment of persons living with the virus in taking anti retroviral drug, war against stigmatization and discrimination as well as capacity building of HIV carriers.

He also revealed that over two hundred and seventy persons were enrolled within the space of one year in 2020, a feat he says has not been achieved in the last seventeen years in the country.

Mr. Aliyu says at the end of the training, participants are expected to be equip with the skills to fight stigma and identify persons living with the virus with the intention of enrolling them to take the anti retroviral drug.
