The Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Foreign Affairs Abike Dabiri-Erewa believes diaspora funds can help lift Nigeria out of recession.
She said this while seeking the collaboration of the Federal Inland Revenue Service in this regard.
Dabiri-Erewa wants the FIRS to put in place incentives that will encourage Nigerians abroad with investments in the country, to willingly pay tax.
The FIRS agrees with her suggestions and says these will go a long way to boost the country’s tax revenue.
