The federal government, on Thursday, said it is adopting continuous improvement plans for teachers to develop their teaching performances. Vice president Yemi Osinbajo who disclosed this at the Nigeria’s Annual Education Conference in Abuja, said the intention is to give teachers a new
approach to learning, teaching and helping solve real life problems.
Teachers to a large extent make a difference in the lives of their Students., and modern society is raising the bar at what is expected of teachers when it comes to teaching and learning.
Teachers are expected to possess a greater deal of knowledge and skills with regard to both teaching and assessment practices in order to meet the
standards of quality education .
Here at this conference, participants deliberate on how the Nigerian education system can be used to achieve sustainable livelihood.
