A combined team of soldiers and mobile policemen, have been deployed to the Nandu Gbok village, Kaduna state, where gunmen killed nine persons, and burnt more than 30 houses.
Police say the combined force would ensure there is peace in the area, and the perpetrators will be arrested.
Gunmen attacked the community on Saturday, and shot at villagers. No group has claimed responsibility for the killings.
