The Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, in a detailed presentation, highlighted the successes achieved in the area of law reforms particularly the Proceeds of Crime Act , which he says has laid a solid foundation for the efficient utilization of monies recovered.

The Minister says some of the recovered funds were used to finance some of the Government’s critical infrastructure including Abuja – Kano Expressway, Second Niger Bridge, and Lagos – Ibadan Expressway

In addition to critical infrastructure projects already completed by the Buhari Administration, Nigeria’s Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed announces the completion of the Loko – Oweto Bridge as well as the Nasarawa loko road

The Minister says the completion of these projects will serve as an economic boost to those living around these areas and the country at large.

The Federal Government has also revealed plans to formally open the Loko-Oweto Bridge and link roads between Benue and Nasarawa States to vehicular movement in March.

This was disclosed by the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, during an inspection tour.

Fashola said the installation of road signs and other necessary fittings were the only impediments delaying the inauguration of the bridge and link roads, adding that it will be completed within four to 10 weeks.

The former Lagos governor, who restated the infrastructural strides of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari’s (retd) administration, said the bridge was a real test case demonstrating the president’s commitment to boost the economy through infrastructure.
