The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 11 suspected drug dealers and recovered 68 bags of suspected cannabis in a series of coordinated raids across Abuja.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer of the FCT Command, SP Josephine Adeh, the arrests were carried out by the Command’s Anti-Narcotics Unit during targeted operations at identified drug hotspots within the territory.
The operation, which is part of the Command’s intensified efforts to combat drug trafficking and related crimes, marks a significant move in dismantling criminal supply chains and reducing drug-induced violence in the capital city.
“The FCT Police Command remains resolute in its commitment to disrupt drug networks and rid communities of harmful substances,” Adeh stated.
