Families of Kaduna kidnap victims call for rescue of loved ones

Families members of kidnap victims of the March 28 train attack in Kaduna on Monday morning broke into tears as they again called on the government to rescue their loved ones.

They have also promised a change of strategy in their appeal to the government which will involve shutting down activities in the country in the coming days, if their relatives are not rescued

They made this known while addressing Newsmen in Kaduna on Monday.

The victims who were abducted by terrorists on the 28th of March this year, have now spent at least forty-two days in an unknown location with their abductors.

Among them is an 85 year old grand mother and another woman who allegedly gave birth while in captivity.

Tears flowed freely as families placed on record their displeasure with what they described as a non challant attitude of the government towards rescuing their relatives.

The group is also disappointed with the transportation Ministry, Rotimi Amaechi and have called for his immediate removal. They also promise to work against his ambition to become the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2023.
