TVC Nigeria has received the Safe Schools and communities advocacy award, for it’s commitment to the coverage of the education sector, and the reportage of security issues in Nigeria.
President of the Civil society group, during a courtesy visit to TVC News, highlighted a story about the six school boys who were kidnapped, in which TVC News did not fail to follow, until the boys gained their freedom.
He said the government needs to do more to ensure schools are safe for students, when they resume next month.
