Governor of the Central Bank, Godwin Emefiele, has failed to appear before members of the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
In another letter sent to the House and read by the Speaker, the CBN Governor informed the parliament he was still not back in Nigeria and so, couldn’t honour its invitation.
The letter became a subject of debate among members and at the end, the House resolved to invite the apex bank Governor once again.
Godwin Emefiele is now to appear before House on Thursday.
