The Edo State Police Command has launched an investigation following the circulation of a video on social media claiming that a couple was kidnapped in Aviele.
According to a statement from the Command, all necessary operational and investigative measures were immediately activated to ensure the safe rescue of the alleged victims and the arrest of the perpetrators.
Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Agbonika, fdc, directed a thorough probe into the incident, warning that anyone found complicit—directly or indirectly—would face arrest and prosecution under existing laws.
