Delta state government has recruited 518 teaching and non-teaching staff for the three newly established technical colleges as it looks to strengthen technical education which can also help to address unemployment.
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration has renovated six existing technical colleges and approved the construction of 19 more since its inception, demonstrating his commitment to improving technical education. Today, three have been completed, and the recruitment of 518 personnel is intended to kickstart academic activities in the schools.

Handing the employment letters to new employees, the commission said the process of selection was thorough and wants them to hit the ground running.
The new recruits will be inducted and trained to ensure they are able to impact the best on the students.
