Coach of Nigeria’s Falconets Peter Dedevbo has hailed the fighting spirit of his team despite crashing out of the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Papu New Guinea.
The Falconets’ dreams of advancing in the tournament was truncated despite a 2-1 victory over Spain that saw them finish on six points as Japan and Spain.
For Dedevbo, it was unfortunate But he insisted his girls deserved all the accolades for their mental strength after a poor start.
Nigeria were finalists in the last edition.
