The richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote has paid a visit to Kano State, Northwest Nigeria and met with Governor Abba Yusuf amid rising cost of essential commodities.
The industrialist and President Dangote Group landed in country home and was received by Chief of Staff to the Governor, Shehu Sagagi and other top government functionaries.
Dangote’s home coming came barely four days after the state government lament worsening hunger and poverty in Kano owing to the prevailing harsh economy realities.
Governor Yusuf pleaded on philanthropists to intervene in easing the suffering of the masses.
