The Western Marine Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has evacuated hundreds of smuggled 50kg bags of parboiled rice from warehouses in Itekun water-side, Agbara, Ogun State.
Showcasing the seizure, the area comptroller of the command Umar Yusuf, explained that the rice was smuggled through the creeks and conveyed in small quantities to the warehouses where they were stored.

Comptroller Yusuf acknowledged the contribution of the Navy and the Army in the anti smuggling effort that led to the seizure of eight hundred and fifty bags of rice with a duty paid value of six point five million naira.
