CREDICORP begins disbursements under FG's mobility support funds

The Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CREDICORP) has commenced disbursements under the Federal Government Mobility Support Fund, which is aimed at providing credit-backed financing for Nigerians to acquire locally manufactured automobiles, including tricycles (Kekes) and motorcycles.

The event started with a facility tour by stakeholders to the Motorcycle and Tricycle Conveyor lines at TVS where they are Bridged, assembled and managed.

The Managing Director TVS Group Says the Company is excited to partner in this initiative and are not just a participant in Nigeria Economy but their Company offers direct employment to thousands of Nigerians and indirect employment to over 500.

MD/CEO CREDICORP, Uzoma Nwagba reiterated the importance of the Credit scheme as he says it enables the local industries while impacting the lives of the Citizens.

The MD National Automotive Design and Development Council explained that the Provision of Tricycles is an Empowerment initiative that has a Multiplier effect on the Economy

Some of the Beneficiaries at the event were given their keys and appreciates the initiative expressing delight at the mode of repayments which they call people friendly.

This initiative, in partnership with the National Automotive Design and Development (NADDC), GIGMILE Africa and TVS Nigeria, is designed to enhance access to structured vehicle financing.
