The Nigerian Senate has rescinded its earlier decision to bar eight television news channels from coverage of its activities after a series of negotiations.

Chairman, Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Aliyu Sabi said the issues had been mutually resolved for the benefit of the Senate as an institution and the interest of journalists
covering the National Assembly.
