Newly elected president of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Uche Olowu said the institute will focus more on improving ethical standards across the banking sector.
Speaking after the bankers institute’s general meeting in Lagos, incoming president of the institute stressed that professionalism will not be compromised in all banking and financial institution across the country.
For the outgoing president, Segun Ajibola, the institute will continue to put together programmes that will build capacity of bankers and the banking system to help stabilise the economy.
