TVC News Kemi Balogun reports that this and other key issues were at the front burner of discussions at the 12th Mandatory Continuing Programme Development organised by the Chartered Institute of Chemists of Nigeria.

Drug production requires the services of chemists and so there is need for chemistry and pharmacy to work together to develop effective pharmaceutical research in Nigeria.

The aim of the capacity workshop is to appreciate the roles played by various branches of chemistry in pharmaceutical research, drug synthesis
and production.

Creating a sustainable working relationship between the institute and the pharmacists in Nigeria gives room for better innovations in drug production.

By bringing together research and innovation pharmaceutical research and development for health care delivery will go a long way in ensuring
